Job Title: Agency Director

Job Type: Full-time

Location: North Carolina counties of Mecklenburg, Gaston, Cleveland, Rutherford, Lincoln, Catawba, Iredell, and Cabarrus.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Agency Director to lead our top home care agency. The Agency Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the agency’s operations, including client care, staff management, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in home care or a related field, strong leadership skills, and a passion for improving the lives of clients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve agency goals and objectives
  • Ensure high-quality client care and satisfaction through effective management of staff and resources
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, including caregivers, nurses, and administrative personnel
  • Monitor and manage agency finances, including budgeting, billing, and collections
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, healthcare professionals, and community partners
  • Analyze agency performance data and implement improvements as needed
  • Participate in industry associations and events to stay current on trends and best practices
  • Represent the agency in negotiations with payers, vendors, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in home care or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of home care regulations, reimbursement, and accreditation standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement improvements
  • Proven track record of achieving financial and operational goals
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, clients, and stakeholders
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
